Icons of Industry Live in Concert with The Bottomless and Blake Jurasin Music.
Icons of Industry features BMI published Jazz/Gospel keyboardist and producer Shauntey Jonell, Grammy award winning Latin Orchestral drummer Johnny Lopez III (ex Grupo Fantasma and Brownout), film score composer and Prog/Metal bassist Alex 'Wilky' Wilson, and theologian and Rock frontman Roberto Montoya. The music will showcase our diverse backgrounds and give you a glimpse into our new collective sound. We'll also be debuting our first new single, Ladder to Sky that is scheduled to be released early 2019. This will be our first and only live performance in 2018.
Blake Jurasin is described as a musician with fantastic vocal endurance and “Van Halen-channeling” guitar chops, Blake Jurasin captivates listeners’ ears with fast-paced, guitar-heavy rock music. With lyrical content ranging from every day frustrations; break-ups; the current state of the US; and risk-taking adventures, the “Who I Was” EP hints at punk rock’s “stick it to the man” attitude while also borrowing different musical grooves from various genres, including Blues and Jazz. The Bottomless was forged from the smouldering flames of an alliance between the enigmatic, brooding Winry Ember (vocals, keys, and cello) and the hyperkinetic, electrifying AJ “The Rock” Johnson (vocals and guitar), we defy time and space.
